Code of Ethics and Philosophy
We believe touch is healing, and through compassionate appropriate touch one can facilitate, wholeness and well being. We believe that focusing on your possibilities and not your liabilities, is a pivotal part of healing.
We will always strive to create a safe space, to empower and protect the client’s spirit.
We shall endeavor to serve the best interests of our clients at all time.
We shall maintain clear and honest communications with our clients. Maintain confidentiality, and will not disclose any confidential information without authorization.
We shall respect and honor the diversity of each individual. Respect the client relationship and at all times guard their dignity.
We shall respect other health care providers and work together equitably, to promote health and well being of body, mind and spirit.
We shall assume responsibility and accountability for our judgments and actions and accurately represent our qualifications as professionals.
We shall acknowledge the limitations of our skills, and when appropriate, refer clients to qualified professionals for diagnosis and for treatments that are outside the scope of our practice.
We respect the integrity of each person and, therefore, do not engage in any sexual conduct or sexual activities involving our clients.

Jennifer Griffin, co-owner of Pathways, has a B.S. in Health Education from Western Oregon University. She has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for 15 years and is an Egoscue trained and certified Posture Alignment Specialist. She specializes in preventative health, relaxation and treatment for chronic pain. She has a heart for people who are suffering be it physically or emotionally. Jennifer has worked with women recovering from abuse, children of all ages, and men and women with a wide variety of health issues. She is known for her passion and excitement towards her work and has a smile that lights up a room and puts everyone she meets at ease.
Cheryl McKenzie, co-owner of Pathways, is a Licensed Massage Therapist, a Certified Neuromuscular Therapist and is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. She specializes in treatment for injury recovery and chronic pain, Fibromyalgia and stress relief. Cheryl has developed a protocol for naturally relieving headaches including tension and migraines that works quickly and effectively. Beyond giving the treatment, she also teaches the protocol to other Licensed Massage Therapists as well as to the loved ones of headache sufferers. Cheryl is a gifted and intuitive therapist who goes above and beyond to ensure her clients wellbeing.
